...to the old days of filters and film emulsions. interesting and nice. the tools photographers used to have in their pockets in the old days now are in our pockets, too. great idea! the app does definitely what it claims to do. and it does it well. without doubt worth having on your phone, even though i personally prefer the digital approach to colour grading. processing is not very fast, but i take it as an indication for picture quality. the masking feature is great and quite unique. and for those with crashes: please read instructions before posting. your phone needs clearing of memory.

I use Tiffen filters professionally in Photoshop and After Effects so I couldnt resist downloading the iPhone version. SoMe nice effects but Obviously not as fully functional as the pro versions of same. Using glows and mist filters always requires careful us of other telecine controls to control blacks, gamma and whites, to get the real results you want. Unfortunately you lose control with the few filters and controls currently available. Some nice vignettes or power masks would be awesome, too, for secondary conyrol. And as other reviewers have noted, slow response times on contols... Something Im sure will improve as iPhone processors get faster. Anyway a decent first effort.

I loved this app. I used it all the time. Then the developers let money get to their heads. How can you charge more for "extra" filters? Its called updating you app! And its supposed to be free! Its already overpriced to begin with! Typical greed.

Great range of filters. Changed blah photos to great in minutes. Controls are slow and its not as good as desktop options, but to quickly crop and tweak a photo right on your phone, no other app has as many options as this. This version has in app purchasing of more filters. Doubt this will catch on. Hoping the next version will transfer geotag info to the updated photo.

Dont waste of money. Lie, every step to pay $0.99. $2.99 for anything !!!

First off the user interface on this app is horrible. The actual filters are average. The only I ever use with this app is the color grad which is great for landscapes.

Easily one of the best photo apps for the iPhone. A very slick UI and has some amazing filter sets. Makes a huge improvement to your iPhone photos. I have to comment on some of the other reviewers low scores. I held back one star because Tiffen (the company that makes this app) didnt mention that for a few of the filter sets you have to pay .99 cents more which is a bit of a pain. However, lets put this in perspective. For my film camera I have paid over 50 dollars for ONE Tiffen filter. So paying a few dollars more for the entire set is really nothing, but they should mention this in their write up. All pro app, by an all pro company. Its these kinds of apps that are taking iPhone to the next level.

This is a real iPhone app, like Apple would buy. I strongly recommend this app. Please make a Os X version! Very simple interface. I love it.
